No. 6 Mendon falls to No. 1 Powers North Central 66-26 in State finals
(MARQUETTE) – Powers North Central scored twice inside the first minute of the game and the No. 1 Jets went on to beat No. 6 Mendon 66-26 to win their third straight 8 Man Division 2 State Championship. The Hornets fought back, but could not climb out of the hole Powers North Central put them in. Jack McCaw led the Mendon ground game with 19 carries for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns. ...... {LISTEN}. He also had 365 all purpose yards on the day. Grant Crotser led the way on defense for the Mendon with 6 tackles while Evan Lukeman had 5 tackles. Mendon ends their season at 10-3 while Powers North Central finishes the year at 13-0.
