Late score helps Three Rivers beat Niles 27-21
(THREE RIVERS) – Three Rivers had an early lead, saw Niles come back to tie the game at halftime, and then the Wildcats scored late to get a 27-21 win over the Vikings in a Wolverine Conference match up at Armstrong Field. Caleb Quake went 15 of 26 for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns, along with rushing for 54 yards and the game winning touchdown. Andrew Brown, Angelo Hausmanis and Drew McClain all had touchdown receptions. Three Rivers outgained Niles 244 to 150 in total yards. On defense, Tre Rohrer had 7.5 tackles while McClain had 7 tackles and Jace Gray had 6 stops. Three Rivers improves to 3-1 overall and in the Wolverine Conference. Niles is 1-3 and 0-3 in the conference.
