(NILES) – The Sturgis baseball team went on the road Saturday and picked up a pair of wins against Niles 6-2 and 4-3 in non conference action. Hunter Kosmerick got the win in game one, striking out 5 and giving up 3 hits in 6 2/3 innings. In game two, Dakota Luce got the win in relief of Matt Wynes. Luce threw the final 4 2/3 innings and struck out 3. At the plate, Gibson Cary had 4 hits in game one, and 5 total on the day and 3 RBI. Kosmerick had 2 hits and 2 RBI while Matt Wynes had a double and an RBI for Sturgis.
