(MENDON) – Host Mendon went 3-0 to win their own softball invitational. The Lady Hornets beat Marcellus 14-4, Lawton 15-1 then Niles-Brandywine 10-0. Kara Swan had 8 hits and 3 RBI on the day for Mendon. Payton Griffith had 4 hits and 7 RBI for the Lady Hornets. Jaycee Craft added 3 hits and 4 RBI while Lauren Schabes had 6 hits and 4 RBI. Schabes and Griffith also picked up pitching wins as Mendon improves to 9-2 on the season.
