Three Candidates Running For Mayor Of Three Rivers

(THREE RIVERS) – Three people are going to be running for Mayor of Three Rivers in the November 4 election.
Incumbent Mayor Tom Lowry is seeking re-election as Mayor. He is trying to win his 14tha non consecutive term as Three Rivers Mayor. Lowery has been Mayor for a total of 28 years.
One of his challengers is Angel Johnston, whose name will be on the ballot Tuesday along with Lowry’s
The third individual is Nathan Walden, who will be a write in candidate. It’s his first time running for office.
Also on the ballot for Three Rivers voters will be incumbents Pat Dane and Torrey Brown who are both seeking re-election. Dane serves as the First District Commissioner and Brown is the At Large Commissioner. Both are
running unopposed.
In addition, Anthony Stanfill is a write in candidate for the Third District Commission seat. He is the lone candidate for the position.
