Constantine Man Killed In Two Vehicle Crash

(CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP) – A Constantine man died in a two vehicle crash.

Michigan State Police say the crash happened around 8 PM Thursday. An SUV was heading east on Youngs Prairie Road. It turned left at the U.S. 131 intersection and failed to yield, colliding with an RV that was traveling south.

The SUV driver, an 86 year old Constantine man, was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s not known if he was wearing his seatbelt or not.

The driver of the RV, a 48 year old Caledonia man, and his passengers, had minor injuries. They were all wearing their seatbelts.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office along with the Constantine Police and Fire Departments assisted at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
