(MIDDLEBURY) – A crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle claimed the life of a Middlebury man.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office say the crash happened just after 1 PM Monday. 22 year old Jacob Fain was on U.S. 20 west of Middlebury and his motorcycle struck a truck that turned left in front of him.

Fain was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, but was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.
