Burr Oak BOE To Interview Five Candidates For Superintendent

(BURR OAK) – The Burr Oak Board of Education has selected five candidates to interview for Superintendent.
During Monday’s meeting the Burr Oak School Board chose the five individuals they want to interview, based on criteria that was developed, based on input about the District that many in the community provided.
The interviews will start on Monday, June 9 with the Board talking to Mr. Scott Henwood at 6 PM and then Dr. Kelvin Butts at 7 PM.
On Tuesday, June 10 the interviews will start at 5:30 PM with Mr. Howard Edwards; then at 6:30 PM with Dr. John Strycker and at 7:30 PM with Mr. Richard Hilderly.
These meetings are open to the public.
Current Burr Oak Superintendent Kristina Owens is stepping down as Superintendent at the end of June. The Board plans to have a new Superintendent hired so they can begin their duties on July 1.
