(NOTTAWA TOWNSHIP) – Authorities have released the name of a Sturgis woman who was killed in a one vehicle crash.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office says 19 year old CaleighAnne Schlabach of Sturgis was pronounced dead following a crash that happened March 12 in Nottawa Township.
At 10:13 PM on March 12, deputies say they observed a car traveling at a high rate of speed south on Nottawa Road in Nottawa Township. Deputies attempted to catch the vehicle and while searching for it, they were sent to the area of Nottawa Road and Park Street for a single vehicle accident.
Deputies arrived and found the vehicle. Schlabach was pronounced dead at the scene.
