(STURGIS) – Sturgis Public Schools want to get public input on two matters.
During Monday’s study session, Sturgis Superintendent Dr. Art Ebert shared with the Board of Education that a visioning session will be held to discuss football facilities. ...... {LISTEN}.
Ebert says he is hoping that this visioning session will be like the ones held for soccer, where a short term and a long term plan for the program was developed. The football visioning session will be held on August 20 from 6 PM to 9 PM in the Sturgis Central Commons Board Room.
The other visioning session will be about Eastwood School parking lot and drives according to Ebert. ...... {LISTEN}.
No date or time has been set for the Eastwood visioning session.
In addition, Ebert says there will be a ribbon cutting for the new Sturgis High School scoreboard at the football stadium. That will be on August 29 at 6 PM, prior to the season and home opener for the Sturgis football team against Coldwater.
Another ribbon cutting will take place at the Sturgis Middle School tennis courts on September 10 at 9:15 AM. Following the ribbon cutting there will be two college tennis matches played there as Trine University takes on Spring Arbor University and Bethel University.
