(STURGIS) – Authorities have released the name of the Sturgis man who was killed in a crash last week.
The Sturgis Department of Public Safety says 18 year old Alexander Cardenas died in a crash that happened at the intersection of South Nottawa Road and Bogen Road.
Officers were called to the intersection at 9:41 AM August 3, and determined that Cardenas was driving east on Bogen Road, and as he entered the intersection, was struck by a southbound pick up, occupied by four Howe, Indiana residents.
The pick up rolled over after the collision and the four individuals were treated for non life threatening injuries at area hospitals.
