(WHITE PIGEON) – A new principal has been hired for White Pigeon Jr./Sr. High School.
During last week’s meeting, the White Pigeon Board of Education hired Damien Loveless to fill the position. He will replace Todd Reynolds, who will remain with the White Pigeon School District, but in a different administrative position. Both the Board and White Pigeon Superintendent Shelly McBride says it was very clear during their interview with Loveless that he was the right person for the position.
The 29 year old Loveless is originally from Olivet. For the last six years he has been a math teacher at Bronson Middle School and for seven years, he has been the Bronson varsity boys basketball coach. Loveless will continue to be the Bronson boys basketball coach, even while taking on the new duties at White Pigeon.
Loveless says he was worked closely with administrators in the Bronson School District and feels confident he is ready for taking on his first administrative position.
