(ELKHART) – A man involved in a one vehicle crash in April has died from the injuries he sustained.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office says 54 year old Daniel Alvarez passed away over the weekend from injuries he received in a crash on April 27.

Deputies say Alvarez was driving his pick up on Old US 33 when he crossed the center line, went off the roadway and hit a tree.

Nobody else was hurt in the crash, which remains under investigation.
