(LAGRANGE) – If you are interested in learning how to write a grant, then plan to attend a workshop later this month.

The LaGrange County Community Foundation will host a grant workshop on Wednesday, February 28, from 10 AM to 11 AM. It will be in the Foundation’s Community Room, located at 0045 North, 250 West in LaGrange.

The Community Foundation encourages nonprofit organizations who are considering applying for the Spring Community Impact grant cycle, to attend the workshop. The Community Foundation’s spring funding cycle is currently open, and applications are due April 3.

Each year, the Foundation seeks to fund innovative projects and programs that address the critical needs in LaGrange County. Leanna Martin, Program Director, will walk attendees through the Foundation’s application process, grant funding opportunities, examples of what budget documents are required, and provide tips on how to tailor a strong story.

The workshop is ideal for first-time grant seekers, organizations that are not familiar with LaGrange County Community Foundation, and those who want basic knowledge about the Foundation’s grant opportunities.

The Community Foundation aims to support nonprofit needs and provide innovative programs and services for residents through its grant making program. The grants are made possible through the generosity of donors who have supported the unrestricted charitable funds at the Community Foundation.
