(MARCELLUS) – A Marcellus man has been arrested after shooting his roommate.

Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke says at 7:30 PM Saturday, his department was called to investigate a shooting incident in the 200 block of East North Street in Marcellus.

Deputies determined that the two men were having an argument which then turned physical. A 23 year old man pulled a handgun and shot 24 year old Brandon Clark multiple times. Clark was taken to the Bronson Methodist Hospital Trauma to be treated for his injuries.

The 23 year old man was arrested and is being held in the Cass County Jail, pending his arraignment in District Court.

The matter is still under investigation.
