(POKAGON TOWNSHIP) – A Niles man was injured in a snowmobile crash on Monday.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called out at 7:45 PM to the intersection of Indian Lake and Frost Streets in Pokagon Township. Deputies arrived and made contact with the injured driver 26 year old Chandler Plow. He told officers he had been operating a snowmobile when he lost control and it over-turned, and landed on top of him.

Plow was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for non life threatening injuries.

Plow was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Assisting at the scene were the Indian Lake Fire Department and the SMCAS Ambulance Service.
