(CENTREVILLE) – Another individual is going to run for St. Joseph County Sheriff.
Friday afternoon, Undersheriff Jason Bingaman announced his candidacy for the office of St. Joseph County Sheriff. Bingaman shared with Swick Broadcasting the process he took to make this decision. ...... {LISTEN}.
Bingaman has 27 years experience in Law Enforcement. He previously was a road patrol officer with the Sheriff’s Department. For the last 15 years he has been a Captain and the last four years has served as the Undersheriff.
Former Undersheriff Dennis Allen and former Sheriff’s Deputies Chad Spence and Joe Bingaman are also candidates for Sheriff. Jason Bingaman shares why he is the most qualified candidate for the position. ...... {LISTEN}.
All four men are seeking the office currently held by Mark Lillywhite, who was appointed to be Sheriff in February 2020 and then won his own election to office later that year.
