Michigan State Police Recover Stolen Vehicles And Trailers

(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) – An investigation spanning many months has resulted in the recovery of several stolen vehicles and trailers.

Michigan State Police with the Marshall Post say troopers investigated two properties in the 51,000 block of Lang Road in St. Joseph County’s Park Township, along with a property in the 10,000 block of Welburn Road in Cass County’s Newberg Township on Tuesday, December 6.

Troopers recovered several altered trailers, five stolen trucks and three stolen ATV’s, with an estimated value of $300,000. No arrests were made at either location, but charges are being sought on multiple suspects.

Michigan State Police detectives were assisted by the Sturgis Police, the Southwest Michigan Enforcement Team, the Southwest Commercial Auto Recovery, the MSP Fifth District Fugitive Team, the Special Investigation Section and the Emergency Support Team.
