The Transportation Authority was created in 2002 by the St. Joseph County Commission.

The CTA manages a fleet of 28 vehicles that are used to take residents of St. Joseph County to several different destinations; such as doctor’s appointments, work, school, the grocery store, and many other locations. They also provide free rides to the polls for any election.

In addition, the CTA maintains regular routes in both Sturgis and Three Rivers, called the Circle Line.
