McGraw Seeks To Win Seat In The Michigan House

(THREE RIVERS) – An owner of several businesses is hoping to take his background and knowledge to the Michigan House of Representatives.

Scott McGraw is one of four Republican candidates that are seeking their party’s nomination to run for the newly created 36th Michigan House District.

McGraw has previously served as a Kalamazoo County Commissioner, and been involved at the local level for many years with the Republican Party. Speaking with Swick Broadcasting, McGraw says if elected, he would like to take his expertise to help improve the Michigan business climate. ...... {LISTEN}.

McGraw is running against incumbent 59th District Representative Steve Carra along with Jack Coleman and Jerry Solis in the August 2 Primary for the Republican nomination.

The winner will face off against Democrat Roger Williams in the November General Election. Williams is running unopposed in the Democratic Primary.

The 36th Michigan House District consists of all of St. Joseph County and all but five townships in Cass County.
