(GOSHEN) – A multiple vehicle accident claimed the lives of two people.

Goshen Police Chief Jose Miller says at 1:21 PM Monday, his officers were sent to the intersection of County Road 17 and Rieth Boulevard because of an accident involving multiple vehicles, with two people injured. When they arrived, officers were notified that a driver and passenger in one of the vehicles had died from their injuries.

No names have been released, pending the notification of family members.

The matter is still under investigation.
