(ANGOLA) – Two NE Indiana groups are going to work together to support the development of a new football field and several community wellness initiatives.

Cameron Memorial Hospital and the MSD of Steuben County announced they will partner on the new football field project at Angola High School. Cameron will be contributing $500,000 over ten years to support the installation and the maintenance of a new synthetic turf football field and new track. They will also be sponsoring other programs to benefit students and the broader community.

Dr. Matthew Widenhoefer, Superintendent of the MSD of Steuben County, says they are extremely grateful to Cameron Hospital for this generous sponsorship and their dedication to the students and community. He says the initiatives Cameron is supporting will continue to benefit Steuben County students for decades to come.

In addition to supporting the new Angola High School football field and track, Cameron will also contribute to several health and wellness initiatives. These may include healthy snack stations, a first aid station, a fitness station, health screenings, public education efforts and more.

Cameron CEO Angie Logan says they are driven to support the health and wellness of the community, and they hope this sponsorship will encourage students and families to embrace active lifestyles. She says they are very excited to enter into this partnership, and look forward to the progress that will be made over the next decade.

MSD of Steuben County and Cameron will continue to finalize details of the sponsorship over the coming months.
