(CENTREVILLE) – The search for a new Superintendent for Centreville Public Schools is down to four finalists.

The Michigan Association Of School Boards is helping Centreville with the search. Patrick Kreager, a consultant with the MASB, said in a media release that the four finalists are Chad Brady, current Centreville Interim Superintendent; Jeremy Wright, Principal at Plainwell High School; Jerome Wolfe, Superintendent at Nottawa Community School and Barry Younghans, Assistant Superintendent of Goshen Community Schools.

The finalists were selected out of a group of 17 applicants.

The interviews will be held on April 20 at the Centreville High School Media Center. Wright will be the first at 4 PM. Younghans will have his interview at 5 PM; Brady will be at 6 PM and Wolfe at 7 PM.

Brady has been with the Centreville Schools for four years and had been the High School Principal. He was named the interim superintendent February 1 after Stephanie Lemmer announced her resignation.

Wolfe has been the Superintendent at Nottawa School since 2017. He previously worked for Centreville Schools as a teacher.

The release says Younghans has a PhD, and Wright has a Doctorate of Education.

The interviews will be open to the public, and there will be time after each interview for community members to give feedback to the Board.

The Centreville Board of Education has set the salary range from a low of $110,000 to a high of $125,000, for the new Superintendent, who will begin their duties on July 1.
