(STURGIS) – Two individuals interviewed for a vacant seat on the Sturgis City Commission.

During a Wednesday work session, the Commissioners interviewed Frank Perez and Luis Perez for a seat that represents the Fourth Precinct. That seat became open when long time Commissioner Karl Littman announced in March that he was stepping down due to health concerns.

The candidates were asked several questions, including why they wanted to seek this seat on the Commission now. Frank Perez was interviewed first and gives his answer. ...... {LISTEN}.

The Commissioners will appoint one of the two men during their April 27 meeting. The appointee will be sworn in that night, and immediately join the Commission.
