LaGrange Commissioners Approve Two Positions For Superior Court

(LAGRANGE) – LaGrange County Commissioners have approved two new positions for LaGrange Superior Court's Drug Court.

Judge Lisa Bowen-Slaven presented the two positions to the Commissioners during their meeting last week. The first was for a part-time drug tester. ...... {LISTEN}.

The pay for this person would be $20 an hour, but could be up to $25 an hour. Bowen-Slaven says she has the money in her budget to pay for this position.

The other position would be a surveillance officer. ...... {LISTEN}.

Bowen-Slaven says Jim Sheffield is the person she wants to hire. He will be getting his own liability insurance. The pay for this position would be up to $65 an hour, to help cover his costs for gas, wear on his vehicle and the liability insurance.

The Commissioners unanimously approved both positions.
