(COLDWATER) – Monthly city wide brush pick up is starting today in Coldwater.

The City says the monthly pick up will run from April through October. Residents are asked to stack all of their brush neatly on the curb by the first Monday of every month. The brush should be placed with the cut end facing the street.

Larger brush piles may require a special pick up, and a separate truck will be sent to pick up larger piles.

If that first Monday happens to be a holiday, the collection will begin on Tuesday.

The City of Coldwater says weekly yard waste pick up is also underway and that will also be collected each Monday. Yard waste must be put by the road in paper bags only.

The City says citizens can also drop off brush and bagged yard waste Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 4 PM, or on Saturday from 9 AM until 2 PM. That can be dropped off at the City's compost site, located at 45 Industrial Avenue.
