(COLDWATER) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency has redesigned the scheduling process for COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

The changes were made because Michigan is now in the Recovery Phase of the COVID pandemic.

The website location remains the same, but once you enter the site, residents will find different options.

Starting April 1, residents will select the County in which they choose to be vaccinated and then will click on “Schedule An Appointment”. Users will then be taken to the screen for registration where they will select the type of vaccine they desire. Once the vaccination type has been decided on, all available dates and times for a four week period will be presented. Residents can then select the date and time which is most convenient for them.

The remainder of the registration process is the same. You will provide your name, phone number, e-mail address and which dose will be requested. A confirmation e-mail will be sent with the vaccine information sheet and consent for vaccine document attached.

Kali Nichols, Personal Health and Disease Prevention Director with the CHA says the agency has evaluated the effectiveness of the scheduling process. She says they believe this new process will streamline access for residents and supports the clinical teams’ efforts to continue providing COVID-19 vaccinations.
