(CONSTANTINE) – The Constantine Village Council has been asked to do an evaluation on Village Manager Mark Honeysett.

During last Monday's meeting, the Council as they also review Honeysett's contract, which expires at the end of March. Honeysett has been the Constantine Village Manager for over 15 years. At one point, he was also the Police Chief while holding the Village Manager's position.

Constantine Village Council President Gary Mathers says there is no specific reason to do an evaluation on Honeysett, just that it hasn't been done since 2015.

At that time, Honeysett received a score of 8.41 out of 10.

No due date has been given for when the evaluation needed to be done.
