(THREE RIVERS) – As expected the Three Rivers Board of Education hired Nikki Nash to be their next Superintendent.

During Monday's meeting, the Three Rivers School Board voted 6-0 to approve a two year contract for Nash, who has been the Interim Superintendent since October 2021, when she was appointed to that position after the resignation of Ron Moag.

Nash has been a teacher in the Three Rivers School District, then later became a Principal and was also the Director of Curriculum. Nash interviewed with the Board of Education on March 7. At that time, the Board decided to not hire a search firm to help them find their next Superintendent.

The Board of Education thanked Nash for stepping in to be the Interim Superintendent, and for the hard work she did in that position.
