(COLDWATER) – A Coldwater man has entered into a plea agreement with the Branch County Prosecutor's Office.

According to officials with Branch County Circuit Court, 19 year old Cayden Gordon has plead guilty to two charges of attempted third degree criminal sexual conduct. He was originally charged with six counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct.

With this plea agreement, all other charges would be dropped.

Gordon was arrested by the Michigan State Police, following an investigation into incidents that allegedly took place between December 26, 2019 and February 1, 2020. At that time, the Prosecutor's Office filed three separate cases against Gordon with each case involving a female between the ages of 13 and 15. Each case had two third degree criminal sexual conduct counts.

Gordon is scheduled to be sentenced on August 22.
