Branch County Crash Injures Two Indiana Men

(CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash Tuesday morning sent two Indiana men to the hospital.

The Branch County Sheriff's Department says just after 8 AM, 32 year old Evan Lindsey of Fort Wayne was driving on Copeland Road and failed to stop at the intersection of Fremont Road. He collided with a northbound vehicle, driven by 69 year old James Wagenknecht of Hamilton.

Both men were flown out by Samaritan Helicopter to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Their conditions have not been released.

Assisting at the scene were the Michigan State Police, the Fremont Fire Department, the Branch County Road Commission and Life Care Ambulance.

The crash is still being investigated.
