COLLEGE SOFTBALL D-3 CHAMPIONSHIPS
Emory 2, Trine 1 – Trine scored in their first inning but in the top of the fourth Emory would find an answer. After a one-out walk, freshman Mattie Ryan gave the Eagles the league with a home run over the leftfield wall. Trine is still alive in the double-elimination tournament and will take the field again today against Williams College. The elimination game is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. ET.

HS GIRLS SOFTBALL SECTIONALS:
Bremen 9, Central Noble 1 championship
Northridge 13, Concord 0 5 innings championship

The Lakeland Softball team will compete in the IHSAA Regional against FW Dwenger on Tuesday, May 28th at 6:00pm (Rain Date - Wed. May 29th). The game will be played at The University of Saint Francis. Tickets will be $7 at the gate. The Lakers’ Keirstin Roose, Chloe Gust, Elise Edwards, & Kylee Palmer earned All-Conference Honors in the NECC. Makayla Mast was honorable mention.

HS BOYS GOLF:
West Noble 173, Central Noble 206, Eastside 228

HS TRACK & FIELD:
The Westview boys finished sixth in the team standings at the Marion Regional. Winning regional championships for the Warriors were Dylan Nowicki (800m) and Spencer Carpenter (1600m). Placing third, and also earning a spot in the state meet next weekend, was the 4X800 relay team of Martin Miller, Remington Carpenter, Anthony Schwartz and Dylan Nowicki.
