The Trine Women’s softball team is going to D-3 world series. Trine used a hidden ball trick to get an out on a runner advancing from second to third base and make the ESPN SportCenter Top 10 plays.

Westview’s Carter Giggy finished second at the NECC boys golf tournament Saturday. Giggy was joined on the all-conference squad by teammates Markus Miller, Colton Marchant, and Zac Chastain. Westview won the championship by five strokes over Angola. Fairfield was third. Garrett was fourth and West Noble fifth.

Plymouth won the NLC golf tournament. Wawasee was fourth and Northridge and Concord tied for fifth with Goshen seventh.

DeKalb won the NE 8 golf tournament.

Westview won the East Noble girls tennis sectional on Saturday with a 5-0 win over Lakeland. They’ll play Concord in the Elkhart Regional, while Angola meets NorthWood.

Brook Koepka held on to win the PGA by two strokes over Dustin Johnson. Koepka is now number one in the world after winning 4 majors in his last 8 tournaments.
