Northridge 11, Westview 5 (The Raiders scored in every innings as the Warriors committed 5 errors in Middlebury)

HS SOFTBALL:
East Noble 20, Prairie Heights 1 5 innings (EN Riley Cripe and Lauren Lash hit home runs.
Jimtown 8, Fairfield 7

HS TRACK & FIELD:
Sturgis scored 66 points to place third at the Lakeview Invitational. Jackson VanAlmen 1st place in the discus , Noah Franks, 2nd place in the pole vault, the 4 x 200 relay team of Nick Stanke, Brady Sholl, Logan Cleveland, and Christian Royakkers placed 3rd. Also, Noah Franks was 3rd in the 300 hurdles. And placing 3rd in the 200m dash was Brady Sholl.

HS GIRLS TENNIS:

Congratulations to West Noble freshman Julio Macias on being named a Ray Guy Pro Kicker dot com top prospect. Macias is now eligible to compete at the national top prospect camp in Nashville this summer.

Cubs 5, LA Angels 1 – On a blustery day, Willson Contreras led a homer-happy performance with 2 dingers, backing eight strong innings by Cole Hamels, during the Cubs' 5-1 win against the Angels.
White Sox 9, Yankees 6 – 22-year-old rookie Eloy Jimenez hit his first two home runs in the big leagues to lead the White Sox in New York. His first was a 425 foot bomb into Monument Park at Yankee Stadium to give the Sox a two run lead.

NHL:
Columbus 5, Tampa Bay 1 – Matt Duchene had a goal and 3 assists and Sergei Brobrovsky turned back 23 shots as Blue Jackets stunned the Lightning to take a 2-0 series lead.

Five players share the 36-hole lead at the Masters, and each of them -- Italy's Francesco Molinari, Australia's Jason Day and Adam Scott, South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen and American Brooks Koepka -- has at least one major championship title.
