One day after sought-after free agent Manny Machado reportedly agreed to sign a ten-year contract worth $300 million with the San Diego Padres, another of his suitors is ready to move on. The Chicago White Sox offered Machado an eight-year deal worth $280 million, but with two option years worth $70 million at the end of it. White Sox slugger Yonder Alonso, Machado's brother-in-law, said the team is ready to win now.
