Central Noble girls basketball standout Sydney Freeman is one of Indiana’s nominee’s to the McDonalds All-American Game. Elkhart Central’s Harris Trinitee and Bellmont’s Grace Hunter were also on the list of ten nominees.
Freeman is also one of the leaders for the title of Miss Basketball in Indiana. She is averaging 19.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.3 steals and 4.2 assists per game for the undefeated top-ranked team in class 2A.
The Trine University women's basketball team remained unbeaten in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play following a 59-42 win against Albion (Mich.) College at the MTI Center in Angola, Ind.
