The Westview Warriors hope to bounce back from their first loss of the season on Saturday when they play in the Hall of Fame Classic at the New Castle High School gymnasium.

Westview opens the tournament against 7-2 Center Grove at 11 a-m. The 7-2 Valparaiso Vikings take on 5-0 Warren Central in the second contest. The losers meet in the consolation game at 6 p-m and the winners in the championship following that.

NHL:
Pittsburgh 5, Detroit 2 – Derick Brassard scores his second goal of the night to give the Penguins a 5-2 lead over the Detroit Red Wings in the third period. Pittsburgh went on to win, 5-2.

Chicago 5, Minnesota 2 – Patrick Kane scores on an empty net to complete his hat trick and to give the Blackhawks a 5-2 lead over the Minnesota Wild in the third period. Chicago went on to win, 5-2.
