Cleveland 8, Detroit 1 – Francisco Lindor's RBI single gives the Cleveland Indians a 3-1 lead over the Detroit Tigers. Cleveland went on to win 8-1.
Toronto 7, White Sox 4 – Brandon Drury's two-run double gives the Toronto Blue Jays a 5-3 lead over the Chicago White Sox. Toronto went on to win 7-4.
Cubs 5, St. Louis 2 – Anthony Rizzo hits a solo HR to give the Cubs a 2-2 tie with the Cardinals. Chicago went on to beat St Louis 5-2.

Cubs new lefty Cole Hamels discusses being traded to Chicago, his respect for Theo Epstein and joining a talented roster. He says he loves to pitch in Wrigley.

Former pitcher Jack Morris who played for the Detroit Tigers for most of his career -- finished with 254 wins -- 2,478 Strikeouts, and a 3.90 ERA spoke during his induction into the baseball hall of fame. He says his playing time in Detroit taught him about the game of baseball and friendships and more.

Former manager and shortstop for the Detroit Tigers Alan Trammell spoke during his introduction into the baseball HOF. He says he remembers his call from the Detroit Tigers and realizing his dream of playing in the MLB would be realized.

The Baseball Hall of Fame also welcomed Vlad Guerrero, Chipper Jones, Trevor Hoffman, Jim Thome, into its halls in the 2018 induction class. In his speech, Thome said that honesty results in good things.
