Detroit 9 Chicago White Sox 7 – Jaimer Candelario's tenth inning RBI single gives the Detroit Tigers a 9-7 lead over the Chicago White Sox.
Cubs 8, Milwaukee 0 – Jason Heyward hits a home run on a fly ball to right field and 2 runs are scored. The Cubs beat the Brewers 8-0.

Speaking after the first round at the Masters, Tiger Woods told ESPN about his roller coaster of a day. Woods finished the day one over par. Jordan Spieth leads after the first round at 6-under. Tony Finau and Matt Kuchar are tied for second at four under.

Jake Evans scored his second goal of the game with 5.2 seconds left and Notre Dame beat Michigan 4-3 on Thursday night in the Frozen Four semifinals.
