HS WRESTLING – Prairie Heights won the Westview Sectional on Saturday for their fourth consecutive title, as well as the twenty-first in program history. They edged Central Noble by 5-and-a-half points for the title. The Panthers advanced 12 wrestlers to the Goshen Regional. Isiah Levitz, Jed Levitz, and Coye Blodgett were Sectional champions. Angola came in third, with Lakeland fourth.

Northridge celebrated a sectional championship, their first in 23 years. Nine Raider wrestlers are headed to the regional.

Girls basketball sectionals begin tomorrow...and one area sectional is considered the toughest in the state. The Fairfield 3-A sectional has the best combined record of any sectional in the state according to John Harrell’s website. The host Falcons, Tippecanoe Valley, NorthWood, West Noble, Lakeland and Wawasee have combined for 94 wins this seaosn.
