UNDATED – The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association girls preseason poll is out. Unlike the A-P, there is one poll for all classes in the state. Carmel is the preseason number one. Homestead is ranked 8th and the Northridge Lady Raiders are ranked 12th. Central Noble received votes.

UNDATED – The Northeast 8 Conference released its football honor squad. East Noble quarterback Andrew McCormick was a first team pick. He was joined by teammate Kenny Cook at linebacker and Damian Bowker at defensive back. Wide receivers Kaiden Hershberger and Hayden Jones were second team selections, along with tackle Tony Smith, Baily Parker on special teams, and Spencer Pattee at defensive end.
DeKalb had two players on the first team: Donald Hughes at guard, and Alec Brunson at punter. Selected to the second team were Barons Alec Brunson at tight end, Colin Goebel at wide receiver, and Aiden Friedel at defensive back.
