(LANSING) – Sunday afternoon the MHSAA announced the pairing for the opening round of the 2021 Football Tournament. In 8 Man Division 1, Region 3, District 1 play, Mendon (7-2) will host Lawrence (7-2) in a Friday night contest, while while Tekonsha (7-2) takes host Martin (9-0) Friday night as well. In 8 Man Division 2, Regional 4, District 2 Colon (8-1) will travel to Portland St. Patrick (9-0) for a Saturday afternoon game, and Climax-Scotts (6-3) will head to Morrice (8-1) for a Friday night game. In Division 8, Region 3, District 2, the defending State Champs Centreville (7-2) travels to Addison (8-1) for a Friday night game while Reading (6-3) plays at Hudson (9-0) in Friday night action. In Division 8, Region 3 District 1, White Pigeon (8-1) will host Decatur (4-5) in a Friday night contest while Saugatuck (5-4) travels to Cassopolis (5-4) for a game Friday night. In Division 6, Region 3, District 1, Constantine (9-0) will host Watervliet (5-4) in a Friday night contest while Michigan Center (8-1) travels to Jonesville (9-0) for a Friday night clash. In Division 4, Region 2, District 2, Three Rivers (5-4) will play at Vicksburg (8-1) Friday night while Paw Paw (5-4) travels to Edwardsburg (9-0) for a Friday night game.
