Schoolcraft boys lose in D-3 semifinal game
(EAST LANSING) – The season came to an end for the Schoolcraft boys basketball team as the No. 7 Eagles lost to No. 3 Iron Mountain 54-50 in overtime in their Division 3 semi-final game. The Eagles took a lead after 3 quarters but Iron Mountain tied it to force overtime and then get the win. Schoolcraft was lead by Bryce VanderWiere with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Shane Rykse had 14 points while Ty Rykse had 11 points and 7 rebounds. Schoolcraft ends their season at 19-2. Iron Mountain is now 19-0 and will take on No. 6 Flint Beecher in Saturday's State Finals game.
