Mendon knocks off Galesburg-Augusta 58-7
(GALESBURG) – Mendon found a game to play on Friday, and went up to Galesburg-Augusta where they picked up a 58-7 non conference win over the host Rams. The Hornets rushed for 424 yards and had 432 yards of total offense, compared to 201 yards for the Rams. Jackson Crotser had 15 carries for 165 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jaquan Hodges rushed 14 times for 146 yards and a score, and Evan Lukeman had 10 carries for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns. Isaiah Ibison led the defense with 8 tackles. Lukeman, Carter Briggs and Tristen Shimel each had 7 tackles. Mendon improves to 5-1.
