(THREE RIVERS) – The Sturgis boys cross country team tied for 5th at the Wolverine Conference Championship, hosted by Three Rivers at Meyer Broadway Park. Otsego was first, Allegan second, host Three Rivers was third and Vicksburg was fourth. Sturgis tied for fifth with Paw Paw and Edwardsburg was seventh. Tremaine Brown of Sturgis was all conference with his 10th place finish. Teammate Samual Larimer was 21st. In the girls race, Sturgis finished 3rd. Otsego was first, Vicksburg second, Allegan fourth, Three Rivers fifth followed by Paw Paw and Edwardsburg. Sturgis' Meah Yunker, who finished 8th and Paityn Modert who was 15th, were both named All Conference.
