(ANN ARBOR) – Michigan football is busy recruiting. The Wolverines landed a commitment from three-star offensive tackle Tristan Bounds on Monday afternoon, adding a fourth offensive lineman to the 2021 class. Bounds announced his decision via Twitter. Bounds, listed at 6-foot-7½ and 285 pounds, is the No. 662 overall recruit and the No. 56 offensive tackle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He held offers from Notre Dame, Texas, UCLA, Virginia and Virginia Tech, among others.
The Wolverines also hold commitments from offensive linemen Giovanni El-Hadi, Greg Crippen and Raheem Anderson, who are all ranked four-star prospects, according to 247Sports. They also are in contention for four-star offensive linemen (and Clarkston teammates) Rocco Spindler and Garrett Dellinger. Michigan's 2021 class now has 17 commitments, 15 of which have occurred since the coronavirus outbreak began in mid-March and halted all in-person recruiting.
