INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts are expected to sign veteran quarterback Phillip Rivers today to a one year contract reported to be worth $25 million. They hope Rivers can provide the big plays that Jacoby Brissett was unable to provide last season, and serve as a bridge to the next young, likely drafted, quarterback.

TAMPA BAY – The Colts news yesterday was overshadowed by the news that Tom Brady is expected to sign with Tampa Bay today. The six time Super Bowl champion announced early Tuesday he was leaving the Patriots.

Bears fans were groaning after the team acquired tight end Jimmy Graham from the Packers for $16 million on a two year deal. The 33-year-old Graham failed to produce much working with Aaron Rodgers in two season with the Packers.

Kevin Durant is among four Brooklyn Nets players who test positive for the coronavirus.
