LAGRANGE – A Jimtown assistant coach is named the new head football coach at Lakeland High School.

Coach Ryan O’Shea spent the last three seasons with the Jimmies football program as quarterbacks coach, pass game coordinator and JV head coach. His JV teams were 15-2 during that time. Prior to coming to Jimtown O’Shea served on the coaching staffs at South Bend St. Joseph, Lafayette Central Catholic where they won a state championship, Yorktown, and Monroe Central.

His father is Kevin O’Shea, with a head coaching record of 232-87, which tenth on the list of most wins by a current head coach in the state.


The Indiana Football Coaches Association announced their All-Star teams Monday. East Noble quarterback Bailey Parker and offensive lineman Alex Mann are on the north team along with West Noble outside linebacker/ strong safety Josh Gross, and Churubusco running back Jake Fulk and DeKalb offensive lineman Tyler Pomeroy. Fairfield’s Kara Kitson is a manager and East Noble’s Ryan Robertson is a coach for the North squad.


Sports physicals scheduled for April 14th at Westview Schools are canceled. All forms and money turned in will be sent home. If you go to a family physician you must wait until after April 1 to have it count for the 20-21 school year.
