BOYS TENNIS: West Noble’s Joel Mast was named first team all-state by the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association. Mast was unbeaten during the regular season.

HS VOLLEYBALL:
Bellmont ousted Angola from the tournament in the regional semifinal, then went on to beat NorthWood in the championship match on Saturday, 3-2.
Fairfield won the regional at LaVille by beating the host Lancers 3-2 in the championship. The Falcons play Wapahani in the semistate at Plymouth on Saturday.

HS CROSS COUNTRY:
West Noble was fourth and Westview ninth at the boys cross country New Haven semistate. Angola’s Izaiah Steury finished third, Westview’s Spencer Carpenter was fifth, West Noble’s Colton Cripe was 17th, Jack Moore of Northridge was 21st. Westview’s Remington Carpeter finished 28th. Lakeland’s Lucas Begley was 40th. East Noble’s Austin Liepe was 47th.
In the girls’ race Northridge qualified for state by way of a fifth place finish. DeKalb was 14th and Fairfield 18th. Haylee Hile of Northridge was the top area finisher placing ninth. DeKalb’s Lydia Bennett was twentieth.
