CENTREVILLE – The residence hall construction project at Glen Oaks Community College is moving forward.
During a recent meeting, President Dr. David Devier shared with the Glen Oaks Board of Trustees that he is very happy with the company hired to do the work.
Devier says the construction crews hoped to have the second floor decking set so they could start putting up the second floor walls this week.
Tonya Howden told the Board that she is working on a policies and procedures manual for those who will be living in the new residence hall. She has been getting guidance from representatives from Cap Stone, which Glen Oaks hired to help with this project.
Howden says the online application to apply for a room in the new residence hall will be up on April 1.
Devier says the plan is still to have the residence hall open for students when the 2017 Fall Semester starts in August.
